January to April, and arrive by 6 am before the summit clouds over. The 9.5 km loop is best in dry weather.
Accessed from Nuwara Eliya or Ohiya (about 1 hour up). Most visitors stay in Nuwara Eliya and drive to the park gates at dawn.
